Cookie Policy

Analytics is optional. This page explains what can be stored and how to change your choice.

How this site uses storage technologies

Cookies and browser storage can remember preferences or help measure website use. Vecta Standards keeps optional analytics disabled unless you choose Accept analytics in the privacy banner.

Necessary preference storage

  • vecta_analytics_consent: stores whether analytics was accepted or rejected so the site can respect your choice.
  • This preference is stored in your browser's local storage. It is necessary to operate the consent mechanism and is not used for advertising.

Optional Google Analytics

When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured and you consent, Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies such as _ga and related identifiers. These help us understand aggregate page use and whether the instant quote journey is completed.

We configure analytics without Google signals or advertising personalisation and do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, or free-text quote messages to analytics.

Your controls

  • Accept analytics allows optional measurement scripts to load.
  • Reject analytics keeps optional measurement scripts disabled.
  • Cookie settings in the footer reopens the choice at any time.
  • Browser controls can also clear stored preferences and analytics cookies.

Third-party services

Core hosting, security, database, and email services may receive ordinary network requests needed to deliver the site and process a quote. These operational services are not activated through the optional analytics choice.

Contact and changes

Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to info@vectastandards.com. We will update this page if the technologies or purposes used by the site change.
